The LSCSoft Conda team currently defines reference environments for a number of versions of Python. You can install these by downloading the relevant YAML file from the repository and installing them.
The reference environments are pre-built and distributed using CVMFS. You can configure your system to use the distributed conda installation:
You can then list the available environments:
conda env list
which will print something like:
# conda environments: # base /cvmfs/ligo-containers.opensciencegrid.org/lscsoft/conda/latest ligo-py27 /cvmfs/ligo-containers.opensciencegrid.org/lscsoft/conda/latest/envs/ligo-py27 ligo-py36 /cvmfs/ligo-containers.opensciencegrid.org/lscsoft/conda/latest/envs/ligo-py36 ligo-py37 * /cvmfs/ligo-containers.opensciencegrid.org/lscsoft/conda/latest/envs/ligo-py37
You can then activate one of these environments:
conda activate ligo-py37
